AgenaTrader goes TradersYard-X

Dear AgenaTrader-Users,

We have already posted this in the last newsletters, here again the information that every AgenaTrader user has really been informed about this.

After months of preparation and integration work, we became a Bloomberg Certified Integration Partner with AgenaTrader, what means that AgenaTrader now is able to connect to Bloomberg systems via the Universe version.

AgenaTrader enables unique workflow-trading for any Bloomberg user with its sophisticated scanning functionalities – i.e. the way from automatically generated lists of the Fundamental Scanner, via the Condition Escort programming, via the possibility to find one’s signals from 1000 symbols from several time units, up to stock picking from the Dynamic Scanner.

Starting from November 1, we will withdraw from the retail investor segment with AgenaTrader as a brand and equip the platform with all the necessities for the institutional segment via the Universe version. However, the institutional approach has completely different service/support/customizing requirements, which can also only be managed via pricing adapted to them.

In the future, we will handle the private client business via TradersYard GmbH. There, we will make the AgenaTrader technology available via the so-called TradersYard-X (eXecution), and new customers will be able to use the TradersYard-X from this point on.

TradersYard-X will be available in a minimal version free of charge while premium-features can be added on a monthly-rental basis.

ATTENTION: For you as an existing AgenaTrader customer, nothing will change. If you already own a lifetime or rental licence of AgenaTrader, you can continue to use it in exactly the same way as well as contact our technical-support as you are used to in recent years. Also with already bought or rented AddOns nothing changes – you can continue to use the same.

Your contractual partner remains Cross Strategies GmbH (shortly renamed to AgenaTrader GmbH).

The development focus of the Mercury to Andromeda version remains primarily on AgenaTrader and changes / further developments are secondarily transferred to TradersYard-X. For you as an AgenaTrader user, nothing will change in terms of terms&conditions and AgenaTrader will always be treated preferentially compared to TradersYard-X in terms of development, as TradersYard-X is generated from the development statuses of AgenaTrader.

However, you are welcome to migrate to TY-X at any time. We have built a migration-tool for this, which takes over your data/settings and makes the switch from AgenaTrader to TradersYard-X very easy.

If you are thinking about purchasing/renting/upgrading an AgenaTrader licence, we advise you to act quickly – as starting from November 1 new AgenaTrader licences will only be available for business-users (funds, asset-managers, etc.)
