AgenaTrader goes TradersYard-X

Dear AgenaTrader-Users,

We have already posted this in the last newsletter, here again the information that every AgenaTrader user has really been informed about this.

After months of preparation and integration work, we became a Bloomberg Certified Integration Partner with AgenaTrader, what means that AgenaTrader now is able to connect to Bloomberg systems via the Universe version.

AgenaTrader enables unique workflow-trading for any Bloomberg user with its sophisticated scanning functionalities – i.e. the way from automatically generated lists of the Fundamental Scanner, via the Condition Escort programming, via the possibility to find one’s signals from 1000 symbols from several time units, up to stock picking from the Dynamic Scanner.

Starting from November 1, we will withdraw from the retail investor segment with AgenaTrader as a brand and equip the platform with all the necessities for the institutional segment via the Universe version. However, the institutional approach has completely different service/support/customizing requirements, which can also only be managed via pricing adapted to them.

In the future, we will handle the private client business via TradersYard GmbH. There, we will make the AgenaTrader technology available via the so-called TradersYard-X (eXecution), and new customers will be able to use the TradersYard-X from this point on.

TradersYard-X will be available in a minimal version free of charge while premium-features can be added on a monthly-rental basis.

ATTENTION: For you as an existing AgenaTrader customer, nothing will change. If you already own a lifetime or rental licence of AgenaTrader, you can continue to use it in exactly the same way as well as contact our technical-support as you are used to in recent years. Also with already bought or rented AddOns nothing changes – you can continue to use the same.

Your contractual partner remains Cross Strategies GmbH (shortly renamed to AgenaTrader GmbH).

The development focus of the Mercury to Andromeda version remains primarily on AgenaTrader and changes / further developments are secondarily transferred to TradersYard-X. For you as an AgenaTrader user, nothing will change in terms of terms&conditions and AgenaTrader will always be treated preferentially compared to TradersYard-X in terms of development, as TradersYard-X is generated from the development statuses of AgenaTrader.

However, you are welcome to migrate to TY-X at any time. We have built a migration-tool for this, which takes over your data/settings and makes the switch from AgenaTrader to TradersYard-X very easy.

If you are thinking about purchasing/renting/upgrading an AgenaTrader licence, we advise you to act quickly – as starting from November 1 new AgenaTrader licences will only be available for business-users (funds, asset-managers, etc.)

Understanding and using AgenaTrader to its full extent is a process that is very demanding, as this platform is designed for the very advanced trader.

Video Content Creator & Educator

We are looking for reinforcement in the AgenaTrader training/education area to pass on this knowledge to users who want to get started with AgenaTrader or get to know it in its full complexity.

Who is a better candidate for this than someone who has already been using AgenaTrader for many months/years, but had the urge to explore and apply AgenaTrader in all its possibilities?
That is why we are writing to you.

We are looking for a collaborator/cooperator who has

• Has a lot of experience in using AgenaTrader
• Has a talent for training interested parties
• Is able to set up and hold webinars in a structured way
• Works with us to develop an online webinar plan.
• To create a short video series based on the Wiki
• Or to package this video series into modules and add a quiz component.
• Has experience working with video (Camtasia, YouTube,…) or quiz tools. Speechelo would be a plus
• Preferably has a fluent command of business English and business German.

AgenaScript Expert

• You have programming experience in AgenaTrader or in any other trading platform.
• You have already implemented complex indicators or trading strategies.
• You can implement add-ons in contract work for us.
• You would like to share your experience with users in scripting rooms on TradersYard.
• You can possibly also hold webinars about AgenaScript/TradersYard-X programming.
